What is that?
Here it is: The Best English Is the Most SIMPLE English. Yes, that is true! Simple English is the best route to excellent English Speech.
Sentences should be short and simple. You do not need to make them long and complicated. You need to understand long and complicated sentences when other people say them, but if you speak simple, short sentences, you will almost always sound excellent.
There are two kinds of “speech.” There is the “speech” you use in a conversation (called Conversational English). There is also “speech” that means “giving a speech.” This is also called “public speaking.” This means talking to a group of people, maybe at an important event or in a business meeting when you are giving a presentation.
This is also simple. Decide what you want to say – and then say it! Say every word simply and clearly. Be careful not to let a word “drop” before the end. Say every letter. And be careful not to let a sentence drop before the end.

The Basics of Public Speaking
I have given many speeches, and I have written many speeches for others to give. You will learn how to give good speeches in my English Speech Lessons.
How do you give a speech? It is not difficult. First, you decide what you want to say. Then you say it! Basically, that is what giving a speech means.
Deciding how to say it is a skill anyone can learn. Part of it is writing (English Writing Lessons). Part of it is presentation-giving (English Presentation Skills).
The ideas must be clear, and told in an order that is interesting and easy to follow.
Your voice must also be interesting and easy to follow. That is why good pronunciation is so important (English Pronunciation Lessons). People must be able to understand you easily. Your English must be pleasant to listen to. I teach those skills.
Your rhythm in giving a speech is also very important. Your voice must go up and down naturally. Some words have more stress and some words have less stress. Some sentences are fast and some sentences are slow. This balance can also be learned.
There Is No Need to Be Nervous
After you practice in my English Speech Lessons, you will not be nervous in front of your audience. Giving a speech will feel natural.
You should never read a speech from a piece of paper! That does not sound natural, and you lose people’s attention. Speaking without a written text is also not a good idea. My solution is this: Write the speech word for word. Practice it enough so you do not need to read it. However, all the words will be there if you need them.
With my system, which I teach in my English Speech Lessons, giving a speech will be natural and fun, and you will also have the words in your hand to help your confidence.
English Speech Lessons let you relax and enjoy your audience. And then, your audience can relax and enjoy YOU!
GREAT ENGLISH TIPS TO REMEMBER:
Be sure to speak slowly! Many students speak much too fast! It is difficult to understand you when you speak too fast. Also, you do not have time to think about your vocabulary and the fundamentals of English grammar. Slow down! Speaking is not a race!
Be sure to say every letter and every syllable. In my online Adult English classes, you will learn how to give the correct “weight” to each letter and each syllable in a word. This will make your English clear and beautiful.
Remember this: The best English is the most simple English! You will always sound good with simple, short sentences. The best English is the clearest English.
Your two ears are your best teachers! Listen to everyone around you. The world is full of teachers. If people use words or expressions you do not understand, write them down and bring them to your next Adult English Class.
Relax and enjoy your English. A conversation in English is not a competition. Everybody has a different style. You have your own style. You could call it the “flavor” of your native language. It can make your English unique and beautiful.
